A person who uses or displays for use any commercial weighing and measuring device must be issued a license by the department for that device. The department shall issue the license after inspecting the device.\n2. a. Except as provided in paragraph “b”, a license issued under subsection 1 shall expire on December 31 of each year.\nb.
