As used in this chapter:\na. “Commissioner” means the commissioner of insurance.\nb. “Insurance” means workers’ compensation liability insurance.\nc. “Insurer” means an insurer which issues a policy of workers’ compensation liability insurance.\nd. “Policy” means a policy of workers’ compensation liability insurance.\ne. “Rate” means a rate for workers’ compensation liability insurance.\nf. “Rate filing” means a rate filing by a rating organization or an insurer.\ng. “Rating organization” means a workers’ compensation rating organization licensed pursuant to this chapter.\nh. “Schedule rating plan” means a rating plan by which an insurer increases or decreases workers’ compensation rates to reflect the individual risk characteristics of the subject of the insurance.\n2.
