{"data":{"id":"us-ia/iowa-code-607a.5","jurisdiction":"us-ia","citation":"Iowa Code § 607A.5","heading":"Automatic excuse from jury service.","body":"A person shall be excused from jury service if the person submits written documentation verifying, to the court’s satisfaction, that the person is solely responsible for the daily care of a person with a permanent disability living in the person’s household and that the performance of juror service would cause substantial risk of injury to the health of the person with a disability, or that the person is the mother of a breastfed child and is responsible for the daily care of the child.
