{"data":{"id":"us-id/idaho-code-14-5-206","jurisdiction":"us-id","citation":"Idaho Code § 14-5-206","heading":"WHEN STORED VALUE CARD PRESUMED ABANDONED.","body":"(1) Subject to the provisions of section 14-5-209, Idaho Code, the net card value of a stored value card, other than a payroll card that has not been duly converted to a federal deposit insurance corporation-insured, owner accessible account balance at a financial institution, is presumed abandoned five (5) years after the latest of:\n(a) December 31 of the year in which the card is issued or additional funds are deposited into it;\n(b) The most recent indication of interest in the card by the apparent owner; or\n(c) A verification or review of the balance by or on behalf of the apparent owner.\n(2) The amount presumed abandoned in a stored value card is the net card value at the time it is presumed abandoned.","path":["TITLE 14 ESTATES OF DECEDENTS","CHAPTER 5 REVISED UNCLAIMED PROPERTY ACT","PART 2 PRESUMPTION OF ABANDONMENT"],"source_url":"https://legislature.idaho.gov/statutesrules/idstat/title14/t14ch5/sect14-5-206/","current_through":"2026 Legislative Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T13:26:49Z","sha256":"3bae1e323cbc693750371013e965e2fae857eb77b8aee2e1078b71337f3ce91a","source_id":"us-id","stale":false,"prev":"us-id/idaho-code-14-5-205","next":"us-id/idaho-code-14-5-207"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
