{"data":{"id":"us-id/idaho-code-18-3319","jurisdiction":"us-id","citation":"Idaho Code § 18-3319","heading":"Unlawful possession of bombs or destructive devices.","body":"(1) Any person who knowingly, intentionally, or recklessly possesses or controls a bomb or destructive device for a purpose unlawful pursuant to title 18, Idaho Code, is guilty of a felony, punishable by up to a five thousand dollar ($5,000) fine and five (5) years in prison.\n(2) Any person who knowingly possesses an assembled bomb or assembled destructive device and who:\n(a) Has been convicted of a felony; or\n(b) Has been found guilty of any crime where such conviction results in the person being prohibited from possessing or owning firearms; or\n(c) Is in possession or control of any substance or paraphernalia in violation of section 37-2732B, 37-2734A or 37-2734B, Idaho Code, or the felony provisions of section 37-2732, Idaho Code;\nis guilty of a felony, punishable by up to a five thousand dollar ($5,000) fine and five (5) years in prison.\n(3) Any person who possesses a bomb or destructive device which by its design will propel shrapnel is guilty of a felony, punishable by up to a five thousand dollar ($5,000) fine and five (5) years in prison.","path":["TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS","CHAPTER 33 FIREARMS, EXPLOSIVES AND OTHER DEADLY WEAPONS"],"source_url":"https://legislature.idaho.gov/statutesrules/idstat/title18/t18ch33/sect18-3319/","current_through":"2026 Legislative Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T11:16:58Z","sha256":"ffe82f445458111be732ba2cb4f688f1598473a65bfe75165d8bfbf43b00aafe","source_id":"us-id","stale":false,"prev":"us-id/idaho-code-18-3318","next":"us-id/idaho-code-18-3319a"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
