{"data":{"id":"us-id/idaho-code-18-3319a","jurisdiction":"us-id","citation":"Idaho Code § 18-3319A","heading":"unlawful acts — hoax destructive device.","body":"(1) A person is guilty of a felony if such person intentionally causes a reasonable person to be in fear of serious bodily injury or death by:\n(a) Possessing, manufacturing, selling, giving, mailing, sending or causing to be sent to another person a hoax destructive device; or\n(b) Placing or causing to be placed a hoax destructive device at any location; or\n(c) Conspiring to use, using or causing to be used a hoax destructive device in the commission of or an attempt to commit a felony.\n(2) A violation of the provisions of paragraph (a) or (b) of subsection (1) of this section is punishable by imprisonment in the state prison not to exceed five (5) years.\n(3) A violation of the provisions of paragraph (c) of subsection (1) of this section is punishable by imprisonment in the state prison not to exceed fifteen (15) years and by a fine not exceeding fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000).","path":["TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS","CHAPTER 33 FIREARMS, EXPLOSIVES AND OTHER DEADLY WEAPONS"],"source_url":"https://legislature.idaho.gov/statutesrules/idstat/title18/t18ch33/sect18-3319a/","current_through":"2026 Legislative Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T11:16:58Z","sha256":"96184b7da5bb83b9c36f00e096af9d2431b9008dbfee9d8049eb5da1fb2a867e","source_id":"us-id","stale":false,"prev":"us-id/idaho-code-18-3319","next":"us-id/idaho-code-18-3320"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
