{"data":{"id":"us-id/idaho-code-18-801","jurisdiction":"us-id","citation":"Idaho Code § 18-801","heading":"Arson — Definitions.","body":"In this chapter, the following terms have the following meanings:\n(1) \"Damage\", in addition to its ordinary meaning, includes any charring, scorching, burning or breaking, and shall include any diminution in the value of any property as a consequence of an act;\n(2) \"Dwelling\" means any structure used or intended for use as human habitation;\n(3) \"Structure\" means any building of any kind, including fixtures and appurtenances attached thereto, any coliseum, bridge or carport, any tent or other portable building, or any vehicle, vessel, watercraft or aircraft;\n(4) \"Real property\" means any land, and shall include any crops growing thereon;\n(5) \"Personal property\" means any tangible property, including anything severed from the land;\n(6) \"Forest land\" means any brush covered land, cut-over land, forest, prairie, grasslands, wetlands or woods;\n(7) \"Firefighter\" means any person assisting in the suppression or extinguishment of any fire or explosion.","path":["TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS","CHAPTER 8 ARSON"],"source_url":"https://legislature.idaho.gov/statutesrules/idstat/title18/t18ch8/sect18-801/","current_through":"2026 Legislative Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T11:16:52Z","sha256":"6ff251936bbd534f8fbb2ae62f979704065671fac43876934ef6500cdbe72f11","source_id":"us-id","stale":false,"prev":"us-id/idaho-code-18-712","next":"us-id/idaho-code-18-802"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
