{"data":{"id":"us-id/idaho-code-18-8603","jurisdiction":"us-id","citation":"Idaho Code § 18-8603","heading":"penalties.","body":"(1) A person who commits human sex trafficking as described in section 18-8607, Idaho Code, shall be guilty of a felony punishable by imprisonment for a period of no less than five (5) years and no more than twenty-five (25) years, or by a fine of no less than fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) and no more than eighty thousand dollars ($80,000), or by both such fine and imprisonment.\n(2) A person who commits human sex trafficking of a child as described in section 18-8608, Idaho Code, shall be guilty of a felony punishable by imprisonment for a period of no less than ten (10) years and no more than thirty (30) years, or by a fine of no less than twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) and no more than one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000), or by both such fine and imprisonment.\n(3) A person who commits human labor trafficking as described in section 18-8609, Idaho Code, shall be guilty of a felony punishable by imprisonment for a period of no less than three (3) years and no more than twenty-five (25) years, or by a fine of no less than ten thousand dollars ($10,000) and no more than eighty thousand dollars ($80,000), or by both such fine and imprisonment.\n(4) A person who commits human labor trafficking of a child as described in section 18-8610, Idaho Code, shall be guilty of a felony punishable by imprisonment for a period of no less than five (5) years and no more than twenty-five (25) years, or by a fine of no less than fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) and no more than eighty thousand dollars ($80,000), or by both such fine and imprisonment.","path":["TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS","CHAPTER 86 HUMAN TRAFFICKING"],"source_url":"https://legislature.idaho.gov/statutesrules/idstat/title18/t18ch86/sect18-8603/","current_through":"2026 Legislative Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T11:17:07Z","sha256":"6083aa28882f4aae587ee0923290b85966f6d0d7858ea6bd561c73291eef2a1d","source_id":"us-id","stale":false,"prev":"us-id/idaho-code-18-8602","next":"us-id/idaho-code-18-8604"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
