{"data":{"id":"us-id/idaho-code-30-21-401","jurisdiction":"us-id","citation":"Idaho Code § 30-21-401","heading":"definitions.","body":"In this part:\n(1) \"Designation of agent\" means a statement designating a registered agent delivered to the secretary of state for filing under:\n(A) Section 30-27-129, Idaho Code, the \"Uniform Unincorporated Nonprofit Association Act\"; or\n(B) Section 30-21-411, Idaho Code, by a nonregistered foreign entity or domestic nonfiling entity.\n(2) \"Registered agent filing\" means:\n(A) The public organic record of a domestic filing entity;\n(B) A statement of qualification of a domestic limited liability partnership;\n(C) A registration statement filed pursuant to section 30-21-503, Idaho Code; or\n(D) A designation of agent.\n(3) \"Represented entity\" means:\n(A) A domestic filing entity;\n(B) A domestic limited liability partnership;\n(C) A registered foreign entity;\n(D) A domestic or foreign unincorporated nonprofit association for which a designation of agent is in effect;\n(E) A domestic nonfiling entity for which a designation of agent is in effect; or\n(F) A nonregistered foreign entity for which a designation of agent is in effect.","path":["TITLE 30 CORPORATIONS","CHAPTER 21 IDAHO UNIFORM BUSINESS ORGANIZATIONS CODE","PART 4 REGISTERED AGENT OF ENTITY"],"source_url":"https://legislature.idaho.gov/statutesrules/idstat/title30/t30ch21/sect30-21-401/","current_through":"2026 Legislative Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T11:18:33Z","sha256":"4db75c9893b8836657e685f82d8db586d96e1a3b1a56fbfdca7d99ccce00b69b","source_id":"us-id","stale":false,"prev":"us-id/idaho-code-30-21-304","next":"us-id/idaho-code-30-21-402"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
