{"data":{"id":"us-id/idaho-code-30-21-407","jurisdiction":"us-id","citation":"Idaho Code § 30-21-407","heading":"CHANGE OF REGISTERED AGENT BY ENTITY.","body":"(a) A represented entity may change the information on file under section 30-21-404(a), Idaho Code, by delivering to the secretary of state for filing a statement of change signed by the entity which states:\n(1) The name of the entity; and\n(2) The information that is to be in effect as a result of the filing of the statement of change.\n(b) The interest holders or governors of a domestic entity need not approve the filing of:\n(1) A statement of change under this section; or\n(2) A similar filing changing the registered agent or registered office, if any, of the entity in any other jurisdiction.\n(c) A statement of change under this section designating a new registered agent is an affirmation of fact by the represented entity that the agent has consented to serve.\n(d) As an alternative to using the procedure in this section, a represented entity may change the information on file under section 30-21-404(a), Idaho Code, by amending its most recent registered agent filing in a manner provided by the law of this state other than this act for amending the filing.","path":["TITLE 30 CORPORATIONS","CHAPTER 21 IDAHO UNIFORM BUSINESS ORGANIZATIONS CODE","PART 4 REGISTERED AGENT OF ENTITY"],"source_url":"https://legislature.idaho.gov/statutesrules/idstat/title30/t30ch21/sect30-21-407/","current_through":"2026 Legislative Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T11:18:33Z","sha256":"b56b9e1b6050cd285457a298241af86300eb4c8f99d56503518372507df5ed1f","source_id":"us-id","stale":false,"prev":"us-id/idaho-code-30-21-406","next":"us-id/idaho-code-30-21-408"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
