{"data":{"id":"us-id/idaho-code-30-24-805","jurisdiction":"us-id","citation":"Idaho Code § 30-24-805","heading":"LIABILITY AFTER DISSOLUTION OF GENERAL PARTNER AND PERSON DISSOCIATED AS GENERAL PARTNER.","body":"(a) If a general partner having knowledge of the dissolution causes a limited partnership to incur an obligation under section 30-24-804(a), Idaho Code, by an act that is not appropriate for winding up the partnership’s activities and affairs, the general partner is liable:\n(1) To the partnership for any damage caused to the partnership arising from the obligation; and\n(2) If another general partner or a person dissociated as a general partner is liable for the obligation, to that other general partner or person for any damage caused to that other general partner or person arising from the liability.\n(b) If a person dissociated as a general partner causes a limited partnership to incur an obligation under section 30-24-804(b), Idaho Code, the person is liable:\n(1) To the partnership for any damage caused to the partnership arising from the obligation; and\n(2) If a general partner or another person dissociated as a general partner is liable for the obligation, to the general partner or other person for any damage caused to the general partner or other person arising from the obligation.","path":["TITLE 30 CORPORATIONS","CHAPTER 24 LIMITED PARTNERSHIPS","PART 8 DISSOLUTION AND WINDING UP"],"source_url":"https://legislature.idaho.gov/statutesrules/idstat/title30/t30ch24/sect30-24-805/","current_through":"2026 Legislative Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T11:18:37Z","sha256":"bdd97f37fc54d64e2f976b3c0df06ab92c788195fb9663c8dc9b2f0bee658821","source_id":"us-id","stale":false,"prev":"us-id/idaho-code-30-24-804","next":"us-id/idaho-code-30-24-806"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
