A person ceases to be a stockholder only when that person’s shares of stock have all been disposed of.\n(2) The resignation of a member, or the disposal of all stock of a stockholder, does not relieve the member from any obligations the member may have to the corporation as a result of obligations incurred or commitments made prior to resignation.\n(3) The provisions of title 42, Idaho Code, shall also apply to all resignations pursuant to this section if a company or corporation is regulated or governed pursuant to that title.","path":["TITLE 30 CORPORATIONS","CHAPTER 30 IDAHO NONPROFIT CORPORATION ACT","PART 4 MEMBERSHIP"],"source_url":"https://legislature.idaho.gov/statutesrules/idstat/title30/t30ch30/sect30-30-408/","current_through":"2026 Legislative Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T11:18:42Z","sha256":"4dbe4f1b4e310a976eac0e3b51edce93ef6d3ead46683d079d7e62c616b65f3a","source_id":"us-id","stale":false,"prev":"us-id/idaho-code-30-30-407","next":"us-id/idaho-code-30-30-409"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
