{"data":{"id":"us-id/idaho-code-34-306","jurisdiction":"us-id","citation":"Idaho Code § 34-306","heading":"Precinct boundary requirements.","body":"(1) Precinct boundaries shall follow visible, easily recognizable physical features on the ground including, but not limited to, streets, railroad tracks, roads, streams and lakes. The exception shall be when a precinct boundary coincides with a city, county, Indian reservation or school district boundary which does not follow a visible feature.\n(2) In order to achieve compliance with the requirements of this section, and simultaneously maintain legislative district boundaries which may not follow visible features, a county may designate subprecincts within precincts, the internal boundaries of which do not follow visible features.","path":["TITLE 34 ELECTIONS","CHAPTER 3 ELECTION PRECINCTS AND JUDGES"],"source_url":"https://legislature.idaho.gov/statutesrules/idstat/title34/t34ch3/sect34-306/","current_through":"2026 Legislative Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T11:19:32Z","sha256":"326d645d897a0f115890410137fd3d34940416118a895bed77f5b6404b16a5a7","source_id":"us-id","stale":false,"prev":"us-id/idaho-code-34-305","next":"us-id/idaho-code-34-307"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
