{"data":{"id":"us-id/idaho-code-34-617","jurisdiction":"us-id","citation":"Idaho Code § 34-617","heading":"Election of county commissioners — Qualifications.","body":"(1) A board of county commissioners shall be elected in each county at the general elections as provided by section 31-703, Idaho Code.\n(2) No person shall be elected to the board of county commissioners unless he has attained the age of twenty-one (21) years at the time of the election, is a citizen of the United States, and shall have resided in the county one (1) year next preceding his election and in the district which he represents for a period of ninety (90) days next preceding the primary election.\n(3) Each candidate shall file his declaration of candidacy with the county clerk.\n(4) Each candidate who files a declaration of candidacy shall at the same time pay a filing fee of forty dollars ($40.00) which shall be deposited in the county treasury.","path":["TITLE 34 ELECTIONS","CHAPTER 6 TIME OF ELECTIONS — OFFICERS ELECTED"],"source_url":"https://legislature.idaho.gov/statutesrules/idstat/title34/t34ch6/sect34-617/","current_through":"2026 Legislative Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T11:19:33Z","sha256":"574571906c4f13bf8edd2e5e038bcb1bab0a04d9dfc07664f56ce0978bab01b4","source_id":"us-id","stale":false,"prev":"us-id/idaho-code-34-616","next":"us-id/idaho-code-34-618"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
