{"data":{"id":"us-id/idaho-code-34-625","jurisdiction":"us-id","citation":"Idaho Code § 34-625","heading":"Election of highway district commissioners in single countywide districts — Qualifications.","body":"(1) In each general election, highway district commissioners in single countywide districts shall be elected as provided for in section 40-1404, Idaho Code.\n(2) No person shall be elected to the office of highway district commissioner unless he shall have attained the age of twenty-one (21) years at the time of his election, is a citizen of the United States, and shall be a resident of the highway district commissioner’s subdistrict for which he seeks office.\n(3) Each candidate shall file a declaration of candidacy with the county clerk during the time period provided in section 34-1404, Idaho Code. Each declaration of candidacy shall also bear the following words: \"I am a resident within the boundaries of Highway District Commissioner’s Subdistrict Number…..\"\n(4) Each candidate who files a declaration of candidacy shall at the same time pay a filing fee of ten dollars ($10.00) which shall be deposited in the county current expense fund.","path":["TITLE 34 ELECTIONS","CHAPTER 6 TIME OF ELECTIONS — OFFICERS ELECTED"],"source_url":"https://legislature.idaho.gov/statutesrules/idstat/title34/t34ch6/sect34-625/","current_through":"2026 Legislative Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T11:19:34Z","sha256":"f8ae06595e60c9b1b1f4e0388da8ddd95ee6e83e33e58563f5b896cd971cedc1","source_id":"us-id","stale":false,"prev":"us-id/idaho-code-34-624a","next":"us-id/idaho-code-34-625a"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
