{"data":{"id":"us-id/idaho-code-39-2509","jurisdiction":"us-id","citation":"Idaho Code § 39-2509","heading":"RURAL NURSING LOAN REPAYMENT AWARD CRITERIA. [EFFECTIVE UNTIL JUNE 30, 2029]","body":"(1) Grant awards shall be made by the board based on ranking and priority in accordance with the following criteria:\n(a) Priority shall be given to licensed practical nurses and registered nurses who are Idaho residents and graduated from an accredited nursing program in Idaho; and\n(b) Award priority shall be given to nurses working in an eligible area with a demonstrated nursing shortage.\n(2) In reviewing and weighing the criteria listed in subsection (1) of this section, the board shall consider all relevant factors.\n(3) If a nurse selected for an award of debt payments does not accept the award, then the award shall be made to an eligible nurse who has not yet been awarded a grant and who best satisfies the criteria provided in subsection (1) of this section.","path":["TITLE 39 HEALTH AND SAFETY","CHAPTER 25 RURAL NURSING LOAN REPAYMENT PROGRAM [EFFECTIVE UNTIL JUNE 30, 2029]"],"source_url":"https://legislature.idaho.gov/statutesrules/idstat/title39/t39ch25/sect39-2509/","current_through":"2026 Legislative Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T13:16:59Z","sha256":"7b43473e9425373c123cd24e93553a204e1b9b74dd9e32cfcba2b5ffdb56319e","source_id":"us-id","stale":false,"prev":"us-id/idaho-code-39-2508","next":"us-id/idaho-code-39-2510"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
