{"data":{"id":"us-id/idaho-code-39-4119","jurisdiction":"us-id","citation":"Idaho Code § 39-4119","heading":"LIVE virtual re-inspections.","body":"(1) Except as otherwise provided for in this section, the division and local governments shall be authorized to perform live virtual re-inspections at their discretion.\n(2) When conducting a live virtual re-inspection pursuant to this section, the division or a local government shall, with respect to each re-inspection, verify the address or physical location of such re-inspection. Such verification may be made by showing the physical address or other identifying features of the location where the live virtual re-inspection is taking place.\n(3) Neither the division nor local governments shall use live virtual re-inspections for structural inspections on buildings that are three (3) stories or greater.\n(4) For purposes of this section:\n(a) \"Live virtual inspection\" means a form of visual inspection that uses real time visual or electronic aids to allow an inspector who is enforcing a building code to perform an inspection without having to be physically present at the job site during the inspection.\n(b) \"Live virtual re-inspection\" means a live virtual inspection performed following a previous inspection by an inspector who was physically present at the location subject to such re-inspection.","path":["TITLE 39 HEALTH AND SAFETY","CHAPTER 41 IDAHO BUILDING CODE ACT"],"source_url":"https://legislature.idaho.gov/statutesrules/idstat/title39/t39ch41/sect39-4119/","current_through":"2026 Legislative Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T14:00:34Z","sha256":"bbc2780d655efa757006fef7dcfbad8e3fe500cc410e55512b39438817e40fcc","source_id":"us-id","stale":false,"prev":"us-id/idaho-code-39-4118","next":"us-id/idaho-code-39-4120"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
