{"data":{"id":"us-id/idaho-code-41-1845","jurisdiction":"us-id","citation":"Idaho Code § 41-1845","heading":"Recreational-related activities.","body":"(1) No company providing health insurance benefits may:\n(a) Deny health care coverage to any individual based solely on that individual’s casual or nonprofessional participation in the following activities: motorcycling, snowmobiling, off-highway vehicle riding, skiing, snowboarding, horseback riding or similar activities; or\n(b) Exclude medical benefits under health care coverage to any covered individual based solely on that individual’s casual or nonprofessional participation in the following activities: motorcycling, snowmobiling, off-highway vehicle riding, skiing, snowboarding, horseback riding or similar activities.\n(2) Nothing in this section shall preclude, alter or otherwise affect the subrogation rights of companies providing health insurance benefits.","path":["TITLE 41 INSURANCE","CHAPTER 18 THE INSURANCE CONTRACT"],"source_url":"https://legislature.idaho.gov/statutesrules/idstat/title41/t41ch18/sect41-1845/","current_through":"2026 Legislative Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T11:20:34Z","sha256":"4a0139823261d864aa43a6cb01ce9dee63aafe2b11217f97c35b08541cb9caea","source_id":"us-id","stale":false,"prev":"us-id/idaho-code-41-1844","next":"us-id/idaho-code-41-1846"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
