{"data":{"id":"us-id/idaho-code-41-1852","jurisdiction":"us-id","citation":"Idaho Code § 41-1852","heading":"discrimination against living organ donors prohibited.","body":"(1) For purposes of this section, \"policy\" means a life insurance policy, disability insurance policy or long-term care insurance policy.\n(2) Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, it shall be unlawful to discriminate against a person in the offering, issuance, cancellation, price or conditions of a policy, or in the amount of coverage provided under a policy, based solely and without any additional actuarial risks on the status of such person as a living organ donor.\n(3) The director of the department of insurance may take such actions authorized under this title that are necessary to enforce this section.","path":["TITLE 41 INSURANCE","CHAPTER 18 THE INSURANCE CONTRACT"],"source_url":"https://legislature.idaho.gov/statutesrules/idstat/title41/t41ch18/sect41-1852/","current_through":"2026 Legislative Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T12:21:24Z","sha256":"74a64442e994af2daf565054a4ba654744a4396ea3021fbdb106d5b28043a6ff","source_id":"us-id","stale":false,"prev":"us-id/idaho-code-41-1851","next":"us-id/idaho-code-41-1853"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
