{"data":{"id":"us-id/idaho-code-48-1003c","jurisdiction":"us-id","citation":"Idaho Code § 48-1003C","heading":"Automatic dialing-announcing device.","body":"(1) When a person intends to utilize an automatic dialing-announcing device to send a message by using or connecting to a telephone line, the person must, at the outset of the message, disclose the following:\n(a) The name of the person for whom the message is being made;\n(b) The purpose of the message; and\n(c) The contact information of the caller.\n(2) As used in this section:\n(a) \"Automatic dialing-announcing device\" means a device that selects and dials telephone numbers and that, working alone or in conjunction with other equipment, disseminates a prerecorded or synthesized voice message to the telephone number called.\n(b) \"Caller\" means a person who contacts, or attempts to contact, a subscriber in this state by using an automatic dialing-announcing device.\n(c) \"Subscriber\" means a person who has subscribed to telephone service from a telephone company, or other persons living or residing with the subscribing person.","path":["TITLE 48 MONOPOLIES AND TRADE PRACTICES","CHAPTER 10 IDAHO TELEPHONE SOLICITATION ACT"],"source_url":"https://legislature.idaho.gov/statutesrules/idstat/title48/t48ch10/sect48-1003c/","current_through":"2026 Legislative Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T11:22:18Z","sha256":"faf28199514f9ac0d824aa43f2eb8921af402961420a6ea6dca27be9bd915f8a","source_id":"us-id","stale":false,"prev":"us-id/idaho-code-48-1003b","next":"us-id/idaho-code-48-1004"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
