{"data":{"id":"us-id/idaho-code-54-1722","jurisdiction":"us-id","citation":"Idaho Code § 54-1722","heading":"Qualifications for pharmacist licensure by examination.","body":"(1) To obtain a license to engage in the practice of pharmacy, an applicant for licensure by examination shall:\n(a) Submit a written application in the form prescribed by the board of pharmacy;\n(b) Graduate and receive the first professional degree from an accredited school or college of pharmacy;\n(c) Pass the North American pharmacist licensure examination by the national association of boards of pharmacy or submit a passing score transfer into Idaho within ninety (90) days after application; and\n(d) Pay the fees specified by this chapter.\n(2) Any applicant who is a graduate of a school or college of pharmacy located outside of the United States may substitute the following for subsection (1)(b) of this section:\n(a) Graduate from a school or college of pharmacy located outside of the United States;\n(b) Submit certification by the foreign pharmacy graduate examination committee; and\n(c) Complete a minimum of one thousand seven hundred forty (1,740) experiential hours as verified on an employer’s affidavit, signed by a pharmacist licensed and practicing in the United States.","path":["TITLE 54 PROFESSIONS, VOCATIONS, AND BUSINESSES","CHAPTER 17 PHARMACISTS"],"source_url":"https://legislature.idaho.gov/statutesrules/idstat/title54/t54ch17/sect54-1722/","current_through":"2026 Legislative Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T11:22:51Z","sha256":"d5ec97a6eb2d2734f6ae5265343c677c9b98f28f22775806c409ddf66ee0d3fa","source_id":"us-id","stale":false,"prev":"us-id/idaho-code-54-1721","next":"us-id/idaho-code-54-1723"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
