{"data":{"id":"us-id/idaho-code-54-2061","jurisdiction":"us-id","citation":"Idaho Code § 54-2061","heading":"Additional grounds for disciplinary action — Court actions — Licensee to report to commission.","body":"(1) The commission may also take disciplinary action against a licensee including, but not limited to, suspension or revocation of a license, where, in a court of competent jurisdiction, the licensee:\n(a) Has been convicted of a felony, or has been convicted of a misdemeanor involving fraud, misrepresentation, or dishonest or dishonorable dealing or which otherwise demonstrates the licensee’s lack of trustworthiness to engage in the real estate business;\n(b) Has been declared to lack capacity or to be incompetent or under an infirmity, for the duration of such declaration only;\n(c) Has a judgment entered against the licensee in a civil action upon grounds of fraud, misrepresentation, deceit or gross negligence with reference to a real estate-related transaction.\n(2) The court’s record of conviction, order determining legal competency, or the order entering judgment in a civil case, or certified copies thereof, shall be prima facie evidence of a conviction, or the court’s action.\n(3) A licensee who is convicted, declared legally incompetent, or who has a judgment entered against him in a civil action as described in subsection (1) of this section, shall, within twenty (20) days of such conviction, declaration or judgment, forward to the commission a copy of the legal document evidencing the same.","path":["TITLE 54 PROFESSIONS, VOCATIONS, AND BUSINESSES","CHAPTER 20 IDAHO REAL ESTATE LICENSE LAW"],"source_url":"https://legislature.idaho.gov/statutesrules/idstat/title54/t54ch20/sect54-2061/","current_through":"2026 Legislative Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T11:22:55Z","sha256":"4e8ee741e4bb1439d90fc7f04602c40a949c11078c8b2fdb152b26702ff525a4","source_id":"us-id","stale":false,"prev":"us-id/idaho-code-54-2060","next":"us-id/idaho-code-54-2062"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
