{"data":{"id":"us-id/idaho-code-54-2925","jurisdiction":"us-id","citation":"Idaho Code § 54-2925","heading":"Disciplinary actions — Penalties.","body":"(1) The board, upon receipt of a recommendation received from the licensure board that a person has violated any provision of this chapter, may take the following disciplinary actions singly or in combination:\n(a) Issue a formal reprimand;\n(b) Require additional education as a requirement for continued practice;\n(c) Impose restrictions and/or conditions as to scope of practice, place of practice, supervision of practice, duration of license status, or type or condition of client served. The board may require a licensee to report regularly to the board on matters regarding the restricted license;\n(d) Suspend a license, the duration of which shall be determined by the board;\n(e) Revoke a license;\n(f) Refuse to issue or renew a license; or\n(g) Impose a fine not to exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000) for each violation of this chapter.\n(2) The assessment of costs and attorney’s fees for any investigation and prosecution or defense in an administrative proceeding against a licensee shall be governed by the provisions of section 12-117(5), Idaho Code.","path":["TITLE 54 PROFESSIONS, VOCATIONS, AND BUSINESSES","CHAPTER 29 SPEECH AND HEARING SERVICES PRACTICE ACT"],"source_url":"https://legislature.idaho.gov/statutesrules/idstat/title54/t54ch29/sect54-2925/","current_through":"2026 Legislative Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T11:22:59Z","sha256":"75b6cdfdbfd6d5005c0b12beb5a24978f19602890c06a0126932526840027424","source_id":"us-id","stale":false,"prev":"us-id/idaho-code-54-2924","next":"us-id/idaho-code-54-2926"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
