{"data":{"id":"us-id/idaho-code-54-4307","jurisdiction":"us-id","citation":"Idaho Code § 54-4307","heading":"POLYSOMNOGRAPHY-RELATED RESPIRATORY CARE.","body":"(1) Only persons who are licensed as respiratory care practitioners or who are exempt from licensure pursuant to section 54-4312, Idaho Code, or who hold a permit issued by the board pursuant to the provisions of this chapter may provide polysomnography-related respiratory care services.\n(2) An applicant for a permit to provide polysomnography-related respiratory care services must:\n(a) Submit an application to the board on forms prescribed by the board and pay the permit fee required pursuant to this chapter;\n(b) Not have been convicted of an offense or disciplined by a licensing body in a manner that bears, in the judgment of the board, a demonstrable relationship to the provision of polysomnography-related respiratory care services;\n(c) Be a high school graduate, have graduated from a nonpublic school, or have passed a general educational development (GED) examination and earned a GED certificate; and\n(d) Be currently certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation.\n(3) A polysomnographic technologist applicant must have successfully completed the certification examination approved by the board.\n(4) A polysomnographic technician applicant must have successfully completed a polysomnography program of not less than one (1) year duration, associated with a nationally accredited educational facility.","path":["TITLE 54 PROFESSIONS, VOCATIONS, AND BUSINESSES","CHAPTER 43 RESPIRATORY CARE PRACTICE ACT"],"source_url":"https://legislature.idaho.gov/statutesrules/idstat/title54/t54ch43/sect54-4307/","current_through":"2026 Legislative Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T11:23:04Z","sha256":"601c2f94ae32778253fde2367a6c5f380b3f4cf43256cc971ae44bb05fa52a7c","source_id":"us-id","stale":false,"prev":"us-id/idaho-code-54-4306","next":"us-id/idaho-code-54-4308"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
