{"data":{"id":"us-id/idaho-code-54-916a","jurisdiction":"us-id","citation":"Idaho Code § 54-916A","heading":"Dental hygiene licensure by credentials.","body":"The board may issue a license to practice dental hygiene without further examination to an applicant upon evidence that:\n(1) The applicant currently holds an active license in good standing to practice dental hygiene in another state with no disciplinary proceedings or unresolved complaints pending before the state’s licensing board;\n(2) The applicant has been licensed for at least one (1) year and the applicant has practiced a minimum of one thousand (1,000) hours in the two (2) years immediately preceding the date of application;\n(3) The applicant has graduated from a dental hygiene school accredited by the commission on dental accreditation of the American dental association as of the date of the applicant’s graduation;\n(4) The applicant has successfully completed a board approved clinical examination;\n(5) The applicant has successfully completed the national board dental hygiene examination; and\n(6) The applicant has paid the application fee as set by board rule.","path":["TITLE 54 PROFESSIONS, VOCATIONS, AND BUSINESSES","CHAPTER 9 DENTISTS"],"source_url":"https://legislature.idaho.gov/statutesrules/idstat/title54/t54ch9/sect54-916a/","current_through":"2026 Legislative Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T11:22:48Z","sha256":"9ce9167ba4d7f1b1660e59ae926e75bb3cf3e0dba248f776e88e430ee842ff45","source_id":"us-id","stale":false,"prev":"us-id/idaho-code-54-916","next":"us-id/idaho-code-54-916b"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
