{"data":{"id":"us-id/idaho-code-54-916b","jurisdiction":"us-id","citation":"Idaho Code § 54-916B","heading":"Dental licensure by credentials.","body":"The board may issue a license to practice dentistry without further examination upon evidence that:\n(1) The applicant currently holds an active license in good standing to practice dentistry in another state with no disciplinary proceedings or unresolved complaints pending before the state’s licensing board;\n(2) The applicant has been in clinical practice at least five (5) years immediately preceding the date of application for a minimum of three thousand five hundred (3,500) hours;\n(3) The applicant has graduated from a dental school accredited by the commission on dental accreditation of the American dental association as of the date of the applicant’s graduation;\n(4) The applicant has successfully completed the national board dental examinations;\n(5) The applicant has successfully completed a board-approved clinical examination; and\n(6) The applicant has paid the application fee as set by board rule.","path":["TITLE 54 PROFESSIONS, VOCATIONS, AND BUSINESSES","CHAPTER 9 DENTISTS"],"source_url":"https://legislature.idaho.gov/statutesrules/idstat/title54/t54ch9/sect54-916b/","current_through":"2026 Legislative Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T11:22:48Z","sha256":"488e5fb9281797876d1a2778bc675405cd1270ae23735eeff4bedcbe6ee83112","source_id":"us-id","stale":false,"prev":"us-id/idaho-code-54-916a","next":"us-id/idaho-code-54-916c"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
