{"data":{"id":"us-id/idaho-code-61-515a","jurisdiction":"us-id","citation":"Idaho Code § 61-515A","heading":"Safety and sanitary equipment and conditions.","body":"Every person operating a common carrier railroad in this state shall equip each locomotive and caboose used in train or a yard switching service and every car used in passenger service with a first aid kit of a type approved by the commission, which kit shall be plainly marked and be readily visible and accessible and be maintained in a fully equipped condition.\nEach locomotive, caboose and change room shall be furnished with sanitary cups and sanitary ice-cooled or refrigerated drinking water.\nEach locomotive, caboose and change room shall be maintained in a safe and sanitary condition at all times.\nFor the purpose of this section a \"locomotive\" shall include all railroad engines propelled by any form of energy and used in rail line haul or yard switching service.","path":["TITLE 61 PUBLIC UTILITY REGULATION","CHAPTER 5 POWERS AND DUTIES OF PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION"],"source_url":"https://legislature.idaho.gov/statutesrules/idstat/title61/t61ch5/sect61-515a/","current_through":"2026 Legislative Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T11:23:36Z","sha256":"3aaf682f4b6f284634522b477d582e15d5a70cd77f94a8ad0378491c5f83f97b","source_id":"us-id","stale":false,"prev":"us-id/idaho-code-61-515","next":"us-id/idaho-code-61-516"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
