{"data":{"id":"us-id/idaho-code-63-2455","jurisdiction":"us-id","citation":"Idaho Code § 63-2455","heading":"specific violations.","body":"(1) It is unlawful for any person to operate a motor vehicle or consume any motor fuel in the propulsion of a motor vehicle over twenty-six thousand (26,000) pounds maximum gross weight on the highways of this state, except as provided in section 63-2438, Idaho Code, unless:\n(a) Such person is exempt from such requirement under section 63-2440, Idaho Code, or any other provision of state or federal law; or\n(b) In the case of vehicles using a gaseous special fuel, such person has complied with section 63-2424, Idaho Code.\n(2) It is unlawful to display any international fuels tax agreement (IFTA) cab card or decal or temporary permit that:\n(a) Is fictitious or counterfeit; or\n(b) Is owned by a person other than the owner, operator or lessee of the vehicle on which it is displayed.","path":["TITLE 63 REVENUE AND TAXATION","CHAPTER 24 FUELS TAX"],"source_url":"https://legislature.idaho.gov/statutesrules/idstat/title63/t63ch24/sect63-2455/","current_through":"2026 Legislative Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T11:23:47Z","sha256":"54867e797d29d3665ed45930c2b7a0ebbaa72423266be81b3db750416e6a9a28","source_id":"us-id","stale":false,"prev":"us-id/idaho-code-63-2450","next":"us-id/idaho-code-63-2460"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
