{"data":{"id":"us-id/idaho-code-68-807","jurisdiction":"us-id","citation":"Idaho Code § 68-807","heading":"Transfer by obligor.","body":"(1) Subject to subsections (2) and (3), a person not subject to the provisions of either section 68-805 or 68-806, Idaho Code, who holds property of or owes a liquidated debt to a minor not having a conservator may make an irrevocable transfer to a custodian for the benefit of the minor pursuant to section 68-809, Idaho Code.\n(2) If a person having the right to do so under section 68-803, Idaho Code, has nominated a custodian under that section to receive the custodial property, the transfer must be made to that person.\n(3) If no custodian has been nominated under section 68-803, Idaho Code, or all persons so nominated as custodian die before the transfer or are unable, decline, or are ineligible to serve, a transfer under this section may be made to an adult member of the minor’s family or to a trust company unless the property exceeds ten thousand dollars ($10,000) in value.","path":["TITLE 68 TRUSTS AND FIDUCIARIES","CHAPTER 8 TRANSFERS TO MINORS"],"source_url":"https://legislature.idaho.gov/statutesrules/idstat/title68/t68ch8/sect68-807/","current_through":"2026 Legislative Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T11:24:30Z","sha256":"4bd7baa82f889b812108d411fddf9b5e23fdcd418c273fac3301ff52c0b58c77","source_id":"us-id","stale":false,"prev":"us-id/idaho-code-68-806","next":"us-id/idaho-code-68-808"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
