{"data":{"id":"us-id/idaho-code-7-1015","jurisdiction":"us-id","citation":"Idaho Code § 7-1015","heading":"Continuing, exclusive jurisdiction to modify spousal support order.","body":"(1) A tribunal of this state issuing a spousal support order consistent with the law of this state has continuing, exclusive jurisdiction to modify the spousal support order throughout the existence of the support obligation.\n(2) A tribunal of this state may not modify a spousal support order issued by a tribunal of another state or a foreign country having continuing, exclusive jurisdiction over that order under the law of that state or foreign country.\n(3) A tribunal of this state that has continuing, exclusive jurisdiction over a spousal support order may serve as:\n(a) An initiating tribunal to request a tribunal of another state to enforce the spousal support order issued in this state; or\n(b) A responding tribunal to enforce or modify its own spousal support order.","path":["TITLE 7 SPECIAL PROCEEDINGS","CHAPTER 10 UNIFORM INTERSTATE FAMILY SUPPORT ACT"],"source_url":"https://legislature.idaho.gov/statutesrules/idstat/title7/t7ch10/sect7-1015/","current_through":"2026 Legislative Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T11:16:26Z","sha256":"33e7ac43bfe22c3339f3a4416159e1f6531bee51b6eb9ce3fcc93f47c1309bbb","source_id":"us-id","stale":false,"prev":"us-id/idaho-code-7-1014","next":"us-id/idaho-code-7-1016"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
