{"data":{"id":"us-id/idaho-code-7-1041","jurisdiction":"us-id","citation":"Idaho Code § 7-1041","heading":"Contest by obligor.","body":"(1) An obligor may contest the validity or enforcement of an income-withholding order issued in another state and received directly by an employer in this state by registering the order in a tribunal of this state and filing a contest to that order as provided in sections 7-1043 through 7-1057, Idaho Code, or otherwise contesting the order in the same manner as if the order had been issued by a tribunal of this state.\n(2) The obligor shall give notice of the contest to:\n(a) A support enforcement agency providing services to the obligee;\n(b) Each employer that has directly received an income-withholding order relating to the obligor; and\n(c) The person designated to receive payments in the income-withholding order or, if no person is designated, to the obligee.","path":["TITLE 7 SPECIAL PROCEEDINGS","CHAPTER 10 UNIFORM INTERSTATE FAMILY SUPPORT ACT"],"source_url":"https://legislature.idaho.gov/statutesrules/idstat/title7/t7ch10/sect7-1041/","current_through":"2026 Legislative Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T11:16:27Z","sha256":"f84092f724c00786195a34aa3a149b39a7caa6b3ab41e67fae0c878c38e57fec","source_id":"us-id","stale":false,"prev":"us-id/idaho-code-7-1040","next":"us-id/idaho-code-7-1042"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
