{"data":{"id":"us-id/idaho-code-7-1054","jurisdiction":"us-id","citation":"Idaho Code § 7-1054","heading":"Recognition of order modified in another state.","body":"If a child support order issued by a tribunal of this state is modified by a tribunal of another state which assumed jurisdiction pursuant to the uniform interstate family support act, a tribunal of this state:\n(1) May enforce its order that was modified only as to arrears and interest accruing before the modification;\n(2) May provide appropriate relief for violations of its order which occurred before the effective date of the modification; and\n(3) Shall recognize the modifying order of the other state, upon registration, for the purpose of enforcement.","path":["TITLE 7 SPECIAL PROCEEDINGS","CHAPTER 10 UNIFORM INTERSTATE FAMILY SUPPORT ACT"],"source_url":"https://legislature.idaho.gov/statutesrules/idstat/title7/t7ch10/sect7-1054/","current_through":"2026 Legislative Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T11:16:27Z","sha256":"80b97d048a6e51c554e623addda21f4a87ea10f163082d96e36ca726e9858ae1","source_id":"us-id","stale":false,"prev":"us-id/idaho-code-7-1053","next":"us-id/idaho-code-7-1055"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
