{"data":{"id":"us-id/idaho-code-73-122","jurisdiction":"us-id","citation":"Idaho Code § 73-122","heading":"Social security number.","body":"(1) The social security number of an applicant shall be recorded on any application for a professional, occupational or recreational license.\n(2) The requirement that an applicant provide a social security number shall apply only to applicants who have been assigned a social security number.\n(3) An applicant who has not been assigned a social security number shall:\n(a) Present written verification from the social security administration that the applicant has not been assigned a social security number; and\n(b) Submit a birth certificate, passport or other documentary evidence issued by an entity other than a state or the United States; and\n(c) Submit such proof as the department may require that the applicant is lawfully present in the United States.","path":["TITLE 73 GENERAL CODE PROVISIONS","CHAPTER 1 CONSTRUCTION OF STATUTES"],"source_url":"https://legislature.idaho.gov/statutesrules/idstat/title73/t73ch1/sect73-122/","current_through":"2026 Legislative Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-04T11:58:54Z","sha256":"d7b98939e736b820c4f020c05979a339f6e34b201cc738a0b0a2c4f859b2ce07","source_id":"us-id","stale":false,"prev":"us-id/idaho-code-73-121","next":"us-id/idaho-code-73-201"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
