{"data":{"id":"us-il/105-ilcs-128-22","jurisdiction":"us-il","citation":"105 ILCS 128/22","heading":"Substitute personnel training and support.","body":"(a) A school district shall provide training on school evacuation drills and law enforcement lockdown drills to all school personnel serving in a substitute capacity. Training shall be provided in person when available. With respect to individuals who hold a Short-Term Substitute Teaching License under Section 21B-20 of the School Code, this training may be included as part of the training provided under Section 10-20.67 of the School Code.\n(b) In addition to the training under subsection (a), a school district shall provide support for substitute personnel by ensuring that recommendations are implemented, including, without limitation, that:\n(1) maps indicating all school exits are prominently displayed in every classroom; and\n(2) the information packet given to full-time-equivalent employees includes district-approved materials outlining evacuation and lockdown procedures.","path":["CHAPTER 105 SCHOOLS","School Safety Drill Act."],"source_url":"https://www.ilga.gov/legislation/ILCS/details?ActID=2735\u0026ChapterID=17\u0026ChapAct=FullText\u0026Print=True","current_through":"at least Public Act 104-790","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-15T04:46:26Z","sha256":"9031697c49bd8c7467b056e3ca5e186dccce7f5f3f1098596f57f8bed69d25e2","source_id":"us-il","stale":false,"prev":"us-il/105-ilcs-128-20","next":"us-il/105-ilcs-128-25"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
