{"data":{"id":"us-il/110-ilcs-805-3-29","jurisdiction":"us-il","citation":"110 ILCS 805/3-29","heading":"","body":"To indemnify and protect board members and employees of boards against civil rights damage claims and suits, constitutional rights damage claims and suits, death, bodily injury and property damage claims and suits, including defense thereof, when damages are sought for alleged negligent or wrongful acts while such board member or employee is engaged in the exercise or performance of any powers or duties of the board, or is acting within the scope of employment or under the direction of the community college board.\nTo insure against any loss or liability of the district or board members and employees of boards against civil rights damage claims and suits, constitutional rights damage claims and suits and death, bodily injury and property damage claims and suits, including defense thereof, when damages are sought for alleged negligent or wrongful acts while such board member or employee is engaged in the exercise or performance of any powers or duties of the board, or is acting within the scope of employment or under the direction of the board.
