{"data":{"id":"us-il/20-ilcs-1705-11.2","jurisdiction":"us-il","citation":"20 ILCS 1705/11.2","heading":"","body":"To maintain and operate the Bureau for Mentally Ill Children and Adolescents and the Bureau for Children and Adolescents with Developmental Disabilities. Each Bureau shall:\n(a) develop the Department policies necessary to assure a coherent services system for, and develop and coordinate planning on a Statewide basis for delivery of services to, children or adolescents with mental illness and children and adolescents with a developmental disability, including:\n(1) assessment of the need for various types of programs, such as prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation, and\n(2) design of a system to integrate additional services, including service alternatives;\n(b) provide consultation and technical assistance to the appropriate Department subdivisions and coordinate service planning and development efforts for children and adolescents with a developmental disability and children or adolescents with mental illness;\n(c) develop cooperative programs with community service providers and other State agencies which serve children;\n(d) assist families in the placement of children with mental illness, as specified in Section 7.1; and\n(e) develop minimum standards for the operation of both State-provided and contracted community-based services for promulgation as rules.","path":["CHAPTER 20 EXECUTIVE BRANCH","Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Administrative Act."],"source_url":"https://www.ilga.gov/legislation/ILCS/details?ActID=313\u0026ChapterID=5\u0026ChapAct=FullText\u0026Print=True","current_through":"at least Public Act 104-790","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-15T04:46:14Z","sha256":"dda0b6eae5be737f6c6bef4bfcac7de60672221734aa37ccac7538f650f4dc57","source_id":"us-il","stale":false,"prev":"us-il/20-ilcs-1705-11.1","next":"us-il/20-ilcs-1705-11.3"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
