{"data":{"id":"us-il/210-ilcs-35-11","jurisdiction":"us-il","citation":"210 ILCS 35/11","heading":"Grounds for denial or revocation of a license.","body":"The Department may deny or begin proceedings to revoke a license if the applicant or licensee has been convicted of a felony or 2 or more misdemeanors involving moral turpitude, as shown by a certified copy of the court of conviction; if the Department determines after investigation that such person has not been sufficiently rehabilitated to warrant the public trust; or upon other satisfactory evidence that the moral character of the applicant or licensee is not reputable. In addition, the Department may deny or begin proceedings to revoke a license at any time if the licensee:\n(1) Submits false information either on Department licensure forms or during an inspection;\n(2) Refuses to allow an inspection to occur;\n(3) Violates this Act or rules and regulations promulgated under this Act;\n(4) Violates the rights of its residents;\n(5) Fails to submit or implement a plan of correction within the specified time period; or\n(6) Fails to submit a workplace violence prevention plan in compliance with the Health Care Workplace Violence Prevention Act.","path":["CHAPTER 210 HEALTH FACILITIES AND REGULATION","Community Living Facilities Licensing Act."],"source_url":"https://www.ilga.gov/legislation/ILCS/details?ActID=1223\u0026ChapterID=21\u0026ChapAct=FullText\u0026Print=True","current_through":"at least Public Act 104-790","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-15T04:46:29Z","sha256":"f580dbf5dd069f64008c932c3553d2dfa22cf12cad1dd7bf2e4bba1f775993a2","source_id":"us-il","stale":false,"prev":"us-il/210-ilcs-35-10","next":"us-il/210-ilcs-35-12"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
