{"data":{"id":"us-il/210-ilcs-9-135","jurisdiction":"us-il","citation":"210 ILCS 9/135","heading":"Civil penalties.","body":"(a) The Department may assess a civil penalty not to exceed $5,000 against any establishment subject to this Act for violations of this Act. Each day a violation continues shall be deemed a separate violation.\n(b) Beginning 180 days after the adoption of rules under this Act, the Department may assess a civil penalty not to exceed $3,000 against any establishment subject to this Act for caring for a resident who exceeds the care needs defined in this Act.
