{"data":{"id":"us-il/215-ilcs-5-91","jurisdiction":"us-il","citation":"215 ILCS 5/91","heading":"Declaration of domestic Lloyds.","body":"(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2037)\nThe attorney-in-fact for underwriters who desire to form a domestic Lloyds under this Article shall sign and acknowledge before an officer authorized to take acknowledgments, a declaration in duplicate. When the attorney-in-fact is a corporation the declaration shall be acknowledged by an officer of such corporation. The declaration shall set forth\n(a) the name of the attorney-in-fact, and the name or designation under which contracts are to be effected;\n(b) the location of the office of the attorney-in-fact;\n(c) the names and addresses, including streets and numbers, if any, of the underwriters;\n(d) the class or classes of insurance which such Lloyds proposes to transact and the kinds of insurance in each class which it proposes to write;\n(e) such other provisions not inconsistent with law which may be deemed by the attorney-in-fact or the underwriters to be necessary or advisable.","path":["CHAPTER 215 INSURANCE","Illinois Insurance Code."],"source_url":"https://www.ilga.gov/legislation/ILCS/details?ActID=1249\u0026ChapterID=22\u0026ChapAct=FullText\u0026Print=True","current_through":"at least Public Act 104-790","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-15T04:46:30Z","sha256":"2dcccf34db939f79cc560d55e852ae5a1556900b4ecc82941343dad5099c90d8","source_id":"us-il","stale":false,"prev":"us-il/215-ilcs-5-90","next":"us-il/215-ilcs-5-92"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
