{"data":{"id":"us-il/225-ilcs-10-5.10","jurisdiction":"us-il","citation":"225 ILCS 10/5.10","heading":"Early care and education limitation on expulsions.","body":"Consistent with the purposes of Public Act 100-105 and the requirements therein under paragraph (7) of subsection (a) of Section 2-3.71 of the School Code, the Department of Early Childhood, in consultation with the State Board of Education, shall adopt rules prohibiting the use of expulsion due to a child's persistent and serious challenging behaviors in licensed early care and education centers, early care and education homes, and group early care and education homes.
