{"data":{"id":"us-il/225-ilcs-235-21","jurisdiction":"us-il","citation":"225 ILCS 235/21","heading":"Penalty.","body":"(Section scheduled to be repealed on December 31, 2029)\nAny person who violates this Act or any rule or regulation adopted by the Department, or who violates any determination or order of the Department under this Act shall be guilty of a Class A misdemeanor and shall be fined a sum of not more than $2,500, serve a jail term of up to 1 day less than 1 year in jail, or both.\nEach day's violation constitutes a separate offense.
