{"data":{"id":"us-il/225-ilcs-441-5-20","jurisdiction":"us-il","citation":"225 ILCS 441/5-20","heading":"Endorsement.","body":"(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2032)\nThe Department may, in its discretion, license as a home inspector, by endorsement, on payment of the required fee, and without the required examination, an applicant who is a home inspector licensed under the laws of another state or territory, if the requirements for licensure in the state or territory in which the applicant was licensed were, at the date of licensure, substantially equivalent to the requirements in force in this State on that date. The Department may adopt any rules necessary to implement this Section.\nApplicants have 3 years after the date of application to complete the application process.
