The State Commission shall waive license renewal fees for those retailers' licenses that are designated as \"1A\" by the State Commission and expire on or after July 1, 2022, and on or before June 30, 2023. One-half of the funds received for a retailer's license shall be paid into the Dram Shop Fund and one-half of the funds received for a retailer's license shall be paid into the General Revenue Fund.\nNo fee shall be paid for licenses issued by the State Commission to the following non-beverage users:\n(a) Hospitals, sanitariums, or clinics when their use of alcoholic liquor is exclusively medicinal, mechanical, or scientific.\n(b) Universities, colleges of learning, or schools when their use of alcoholic liquor is exclusively medicinal, mechanical, or scientific.\n(c) Laboratories when their use is exclusively for the purpose of scientific research.","path":["CHAPTER 235 LIQUOR","Liquor Control Act of 1934."],"source_url":"https://www.ilga.gov/legislation/ILCS/details?ActID=1404\u0026ChapterID=26\u0026ChapAct=FullText\u0026Print=True","current_through":"at least Public Act 104-790","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-15T04:46:32Z","sha256":"ee8ba692bc1e1aa167903fe865eaa00fc4982f5bb541ee565d3d4d051f0307a5","source_id":"us-il","stale":false,"prev":"us-il/235-ilcs-5-5-2","next":"us-il/235-ilcs-5-5-4"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
