{"data":{"id":"us-il/235-ilcs-5-9-6","jurisdiction":"us-il","citation":"235 ILCS 5/9-6","heading":"","body":"The proposition shall be in substantially the following form:\n--------------------------------------------------------------\nShall the sale at retail of\nalcoholic liquor (or alcoholic\nliquor other than beer containing YES\nnot more than 4% of alcohol by\nweight) (or alcoholic liquor -------------------\ncontaining more than 4% alcohol by\nweight in the original package\nand not for consumption on the NO\npremises) be prohibited in (or at) ....?\n--------------------------------------------------------------\nIn a precinct referendum, the proposition ballot shall also contain a common description of the precinct in plain and nonlegal language, which may be prepared by the election official or adopted from the description on the petition, unless the election official responsible for conducting the election determines that a description cannot be included within the space limitations on the ballot to be used in the election.
