In making this determination, the Department may consider:\n(1) the number of jobs to be created by the applicant;\n(2) the number of jobs to be retained by the applicant;\n(3) the average salary of jobs created by the applicant;\n(4) the average salary of jobs retained by the applicant;\n(5) the total capital investment to be made by the applicant;\n(6) the likelihood of other businesses locating within the same vicinity or within the State as a result of the business activity to be conducted by the applicant receiving the economic incentive;\n(7) the impact on the economy of the area or community where the project is located; and\n(8) any other factors the Department determines to be relevant to accomplish the purposes of this Act.","path":["CHAPTER 30 FINANCE","Invest in Illinois Act."],"source_url":"https://www.ilga.gov/legislation/ILCS/details?ActID=4349\u0026ChapterID=7\u0026ChapAct=FullText\u0026Print=True","current_through":"at least Public Act 104-790","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-15T04:46:19Z","sha256":"db5b765c9755696884b76c0fe58496a093696a3daae4eab8856bb012f13a0229","source_id":"us-il","stale":false,"prev":"us-il/30-ilcs-751-20","next":"us-il/30-ilcs-751-30"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
