{"data":{"id":"us-il/305-ilcs-5-5-5a","jurisdiction":"us-il","citation":"305 ILCS 5/5-5a","heading":"Waiver for home and community-based services.","body":"The Department shall apply for a waiver from the United States Health Care Financing Administration to allow payment for home and community-based services under this Article.\nThe Department, in cooperation with the Department on Aging, the Department of Human Services and any other relevant State, local or federal government agency, may establish a nursing home pre-screening program to determine whether the applicant, eligible for medical assistance under this Article, may use home and community-based services as a reasonable, lower-cost alternative form of care.
