{"data":{"id":"us-il/330-ilcs-140-10","jurisdiction":"us-il","citation":"330 ILCS 140/10","heading":"Veterans' and Military Discount Program.","body":"The Department of Veterans Affairs shall establish and administer a Veterans' and Military Discount Program that enables veterans, active duty military personnel, and those spouses and dependents of veterans and military personnel who have been issued a valid Military ID card or Military Dependent ID card to use the following photo identification at participating merchants to receive a discount on goods and services or to receive another appropriate money-saving promotion of a merchant's choice:\n(1) veterans who have a valid driver's license or Illinois Identification Card issued pursuant to subsection (e) of Section 6-106 of the Illinois Vehicle Code or subsection (c-5) of Section 4 of the Illinois Identification Card Act;\n(2) active duty military personnel who have a valid Common Access Card issued by the U.S. Department of Defense indicating the cardholder's active duty status; and\n(3) those spouses and dependents of veterans and military personnel who have been issued a valid Military ID card or Military Dependent ID card.","path":["CHAPTER 330 VETERANS AND SERVICE MEMBERS","Veterans' and Military Discount Program Act."],"source_url":"https://www.ilga.gov/legislation/ILCS/details?ActID=3663\u0026ChapterID=33\u0026ChapAct=FullText\u0026Print=True","current_through":"at least Public Act 104-790","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-15T04:46:34Z","sha256":"c12569ee77657d0c9404225249bf430b05b838d9196ffa5505ea619951bf87ac","source_id":"us-il","stale":false,"prev":"us-il/330-ilcs-140-5","next":"us-il/330-ilcs-140-15"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
