{"data":{"id":"us-il/35-ilcs-143-10-53","jurisdiction":"us-il","citation":"35 ILCS 143/10-53","heading":"Acting as a retailer of tobacco products without a license.","body":"Any person who knowingly acts as a retailer of tobacco products in this State without first having obtained a license to do so in compliance with Section 10-21 of this Act or a license in compliance with Section 4g of the Cigarette Tax Act shall be guilty of a Class A misdemeanor for the first offense and a Class 4 felony for a second or subsequent offense.
