Should the funeral director who delivers the human remains to the crematory fail to ensure that the pacemaker has been removed from the human remains prior to delivery, and should the human remains be cremated with the pacemaker, then the funeral director who delivered the human remains to the crematory and anyone else covered by this Section shall be liable for all resulting damages.\n(Text of Section after amendment by P.A. 104-501)\n(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2029)\nPacemakers and hazardous implants.
