{"data":{"id":"us-il/410-ilcs-707-45","jurisdiction":"us-il","citation":"410 ILCS 707/45","heading":"Penalties.","body":"(This Section may contain text from a Public Act with a delayed effective date)\nUpon a finding that a person or retailer has violated this Act, the Department may impose fines as follows:\n(1) for a first violation within a 24-month period, a fine not to exceed $500;\n(2) for a second violation within a 24-month period, a fine not to exceed $750; and\n(3) for a third or subsequent violation within a 24-month period, a fine not to exceed $1,000.\nFines imposed under this subsection are in addition to, and not in lieu of, any other civil, criminal, or administrative remedy available under this Act or any other law.
